Use of Platform

You agree to use the GN1 platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You must not:

• Use the platform in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our platform, the server on which our platform is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our platform
• Transmit any data or material that is defamatory, offensive, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of our platform without our express written consent
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation
• Upload or transmit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to GN1 at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these terms.

Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of GN1 — including saving favourites, making tour enquiries, and shopping in the GN1 Store — you may be required to register for an account. When creating an account you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
• Notify GN1 immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

GN1 reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that contain false, inaccurate, or incomplete information, or accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Tours & Bookings

GN1 partners with licensed Namibian tour operators, including Ompo Travel & Safari, to offer curated tour packages. All tour bookings are subject to the following conditions:

GN1 acts as a facilitator between clients and tour operators. The operating tour company bears direct responsibility for the delivery of tour services. GN1 accepts no liability for the acts or omissions of independent tour operators.

Ambassador Programme

GN1 ambassadors are individuals selected to represent and promote Namibia through the GN1 platform and their personal social media channels. All ambassadors agree to:

• Represent Namibia and GN1 with respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity
• Not make false or misleading claims about Namibia, GN1, or any associated partners
• Disclose any paid partnership or sponsored content in accordance with applicable advertising standards in their country
• Not engage in any conduct that may bring GN1 or Namibia into disrepute
• Comply with all terms in their individual Ambassador Agreement

GN1 reserves the right to terminate any ambassador relationship at any time if these standards are not upheld. Ambassador status does not create an employment relationship with GN1.

Partnership Listings

Businesses listed on the GN1 platform as partners or featured destinations agree that:

• All information provided for listing is accurate, current, and not misleading
• They hold all required licences, permits, and registrations to operate their business in Namibia
• GN1 may feature their business name, logo, images, and description on the platform
• GN1 does not guarantee a specific number of bookings, enquiries, or leads
• Partnership fees, if applicable, are non-refundable once a listing is active
• GN1 reserves the right to remove any partner listing that does not meet our quality and authenticity standards

Intellectual Property

All content on the GN1 platform — including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, photographs, video, audio, and software — is the property of Global Namibia One or its licensed contributors and is protected by Namibian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the GN1 platform without our prior written consent.

The GN1 logo, name, and branding are trademarks of Global Namibia One. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

By submitting content to GN1 (including photos, reviews, or messages), you grant GN1 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content on our platform.

Privacy

Your use of the GN1 platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information.

Changes to Terms

GN1 reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of GN1 after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We recommend reviewing these terms periodically. The date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last updated.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
